Renewing your DJI Care Refresh

Overview 

DJI Care Refresh is a protection plan that offers repair or replacement coverage for your drone in the event of accidental damage. To maintain continuous protection, DJI allows you to renew your Care Refresh plan for up to three years from the drone’s original activation date. 

Renewing your plan ensures your equipment remains covered and that you continue enjoying the benefits of DJI’s protection program. 

 

Eligibility and Renewal Requirements 

Renewal Period 

  • DJI Care Refresh plans are renewable for up to three years from the drone’s activation date. 
  • Renewal must be completed before your current Care Refresh coverage expires. 
  • DJI will send renewal email notifications to the address that was used to bind your Care Refresh plan to your equipment. 

Plan Type Matching 

Your renewal plan must match your existing plan type: 

  • SP Basic → SP Basic 
  • SP Plus → SP Plus 
  • 2-Year Plan → SP Basic (for the final year) 

Each renewal code corresponds to a specific plan type, so make sure to purchase the correct version before renewing. 

 

What Happens When You Renew 

If You Have SP Basic or 2-Year Plan 

  • Renewal resets your replacement allowance, giving you access to a new set of replacement units (subject to applicable service fees). 

If You Have SP Plus 

  • Renewal provides an additional maintenance service credit (for applicable drones)
