TB60 Troubleshooting Procedures

Follow these steps to troubleshoot TB60 batteries that aren't functioning properly

Whether no light comes on the battery, or they aren't recognized by the BS60, follow these steps to troubleshoot.

Firstly, remember to check the serial number before anything to make sure the customer purchased these batteries from us

Also, check for any damage on the battery. If it was crashed or damaged that may cause the battery to die. Do not turn on or test any batteries with significant damage. Check the pins on the battery to see if any are damaged. If they are this can stop the battery from charging

1. Check firmware updates

- To do this, insert your TB60 batteries into the BS60 and connect the smart controller via the USBc port. Once everything is powered on, open DJI pilot and check for firmware updates. If the BS60 can detect the battery then it should be able to install an update, as long as if the battery is 50% charge. This will usually solve issues where the battery wont charge or you still see something when pressing the button on the battery

- This will not resolve issues where the battery seems to be dead

2. Leave batteries to Rest for 24hrs and check again to see if there are any changes

- Sometimes you just need to leave the battery to rest for some time

If none of these work, DJI will most likely ask for the logs. To get the logs:

1. Insert batteries into BS60 and connect controller via USBC port

2. Launch DJI Pilot and go to UAV Health Management: Select Manage Logs - Battery Station Log

3. Select X Battery Log and click upload

4. A QR code should come up and send this to DJI
